Tools developed and manufactured by Andrew Zajac are ideal for doing self maintenance and repairs to your own harmonicas. These are specialty tools designed specifically for harmonica repair and come with basic instructions for maintenance, tuning and reed replacement. This kit should be used in conjunction with the ZZ-BTK Basic Tool Kit.

Additional tools that may be required are available at a hardware store or on our website.

Description

This Reed Replacement Kit includes:

– Stainless steel reed replacement screws with Phillips head (35 screws)
– M1.4 tap and pin vise
– 3/64″ drill bit
– Reed removal spine
– Hardened and tempered O1 steel reed removal pin
– Flattening pin

Not included but recommended:

  • ‘0’ Phillips or Posidriv screwdriver and slotted screwdriver
  • small hammer
  • small anvil
  • Flush cut pliers
  • Needle File
  • Reed wrench (part of the ZZ-BTK)
  • 1/16″, 5/64″ and 3/32″ drill bits
  • flat sanding surface and 220 grit sandpaper
